Blurb:
Sam McMillian is a tiger shifter living with a wolf pack. He was kicked out of his own family streak, not only for being gay, but for being a submissive bottom as well. He’s supposed to be a strong, fierce predator. Hiding who he really is from the wolf pack that welcomes him, Sam starts his life over. Not being able to deny what he really wants, Sam sneaks out once a month and meets with Charles Montgomery. The man is not only his Master, but is also Sam’s mate.
Charles is an ancient vampire. He meets his True Match, a vampire’s perfect blood match, at the Silver Bullet. He hides the truth from his friends because Sam asks him too.  After a year of meeting once a month in secret, Charles decides that things need to change. To get Sam’s attention, Charles gives him an ultimatum, pushing the other man over the edge and provoking his tiger to rise.

Story Excerpt:

“It’s almost been a year. When are you going to be honest?” Charles stared at him and Sam felt as if the man could see into his soul.
“I’m not ready.” Sam told him, shaking his head.
“You say that every month. You’re the only man I drink from. The only man I fuck. I’m the only man you fuck. I go to that damn club so that my friends don’t get suspicious. All of it is for you,” Charles told him and Sam felt guilty.
It was all true. The pack doctor was the only other being that knew the complete truth. That they were mates and that Charles could only drink from him since Sam was his True Match. Sam went to see the doctor once a week and the man took a pint of his blood before he personally delivered the blood bag to Charles. Once a month, when Sam came to his home for their sessions, Charles would drink from Sam’s vein – an experience that Sam loved.
“I’m sorry. I’m just—I can’t tell them yet.” It was a lame excuse, he knew that. It was his past that he was afraid of.
“Why? They won’t care,” Charles told him.
“You don’t know that! I had to leave one home. I’m not ready to leave another.” He respected Gideon too much, just like he’d respected his father.
“You think your friends will really give a shit that you bottom? Hell, tell them I bottom for you. I don’t care.” Sam could hear the pleading tone in Charles’s voice.
“Nobody would believe that. Too many people know your reputation.” It was true. The man was a Dom, and he always would be. He’d earned his reputation as a Master long before Sam came into the picture.
“So, for the rest of my existence, I only get to see my True Match once a month?” The man was getting angry, Sam could see it in the way his jaw clenched and his eyes narrowed.
“I’m sorry.” It was true. He was sorry.
“You always say that.” He waved away Sam’s apology.
“It’s true,” He exhaled loudly. “I should probably go.”
“Yeah, I’ll see you next month for my feeding and fuck,” Charles said harshly. He already felt so damn guilty and now it was as if Charles was the one feeling used in their sort of relationship.
“I shouldn’t do this anymore,” he said under his breath as he walked toward the bedroom door.
“You say that at the end of every night we’re together. I used to be scared that I wouldn’t see you again.” Sam saw a flash of pain in the other man’s eyes.
“I don’t want to hurt you.”
“You are, though. Every time you walk out that door my heart breaks. Maybe you need to decide if I’m your mate. You’ve never once tried to claim me. I’ve done everything you’ve asked. For an entire year, I’ve kept our relationship a secret from my friends. When is it going to be about me, Sam? It’s time you made a decision. Either claim me as your mate, or don’t come back.”
Sam stared silently at Charles in shock, before turning and hurrying down the stairs. Sam grabbed his clothing off the bench in the entryway and peeked over his shoulder. He could see the marks that his Master had left behind, but by morning, all evidence of his night with Charles would be gone as if they’d never been there in the first place.

Blurb: Big, Bad Vampire

STORY EXCERPT

Jayden Channing hooted and hollered his excitement as he ran out of the apartment above the pack club, Silver Bullet. He’d been waiting years to be old enough to be allowed access. His Alpha and older brother, Gideon owned the club and had kept him away, blocking every single one of his attempts to gain entry. He’d tried everything, but those days were now over. He had permission to dance, drink, and have fun. Gideon’s only rule, don’t do anything inappropriate. Whatever that meant. He just needed to steer clear of Gideon and whichever pack member was assigned to watch over him.
At twenty-two, Jayden was a full-time college student. Finals had just ended, his junior year over. It was now summer time, and he had two short months to meet new friends, dance, drink, and stay up all night long. He’d been waiting for Gideon to finally notice that he was old enough, and he couldn’t suppress the excited grin that lit his face even if he tried.
Making his way into the main part of the club, he wasn’t sure what to do first. Lights flashing, techno music pumping, he could feel the bass pounding through his system, driving him to dance. He decided to hit the bar and get a little buzzed first, knowing that Gideon would be down shortly, followed by Sean, the pack’s Beta. He pushed his way through the swarms of people and reached the bar. He waved his hands rapidly to get Sam McMillan’s attention.
“Uh-oh, how did you get inside?” Sam grinned, shaking his head. He was the head bartender at the Silver Bullet. The man was also a fierce tiger shifter that had joined their pack a while ago. Jayden liked him.
“Gideon finally agreed to let me in.” Jayden shook his hips, beyond excited to get on the dance floor.
“All right, I’ll believe you,” Sam’s tone said otherwise as he winked, “What do you want to drink?”
Jayden didn’t care if Sam believed him or not, the bartender was still willing to serve him a drink and that’s all that mattered at this moment. He was sure that the tiger shifter would report him to Gideon. This time though, he didn’t care. He had Gideon’s permission.
“Hmmm…Something fruity would be good.” Jayden said, eyeing the bottles behind the bar.
Sam nodded and grabbed a couple of liquor bottles. Whirling them in his hands, he threw them into the air, and caught them behind his back. Sam moved quickly and gracefully, putting on a little show for all the patrons. Men chanted his name as Sam flirted back, winking and blowing kisses. Jayden rolled his eyes and tried to wait patiently. As soon as Sam set the glass on the bar, he grabbed it, barely dodging Gideon and Sean as they came near the bar.
Jayden sipped his drink as he watched his brother closely. He’d been kicked out of the bar so many times that it still felt a little surreal and almost uncomfortable that he was even allowed to be here. He followed Gideon with his eyes and watched him speak with almost each and every person in the club. Gideon was extremely popular, good looking, and well-liked. He made it look all so easy. Life had never been that simple for him. Then again, he wasn’t a big, strong Alpha. How did my brother get all the good genes?
Gideon strode to a table across the dance floor and smiled, shaking hands with four of the biggest, baddest-looking men Jayden had ever seen. He moved closer, wanting to get a smell. It was obvious that they were paranormals and predators, but he could tell they weren’t wolves. He was small enough to sneak around the edge, sticking to the dark walls for cover. When he was close, he inhaled, cataloging all the various scents. Vampires.
He caught a whiff of something sweet and it tickled his nose. What is that? It was a mixture of vanilla and chocolate with a touch of something he couldn’t quite place – something…spicy. As his mouth watered, eager for a taste, his body reacted, muscles tensing and all the blood in his body traveled south, straight to his cock. Mate.
Jayden’s mouth opened slightly and his blue eyes widened. One of the vampires was his mate. Ignoring the reaction of his body, he moved closer to eavesdrop on the conversation taking place between his brother and the table of vampires.
“Gentlemen…how are you tonight?” Gideon asked, shaking hands with each vampire.
“Just finishing my drink before going to the dungeon, I’ve got a new whip to try out.” One of the vampires growled, downing the contents of his glass in one gulp.
That’s him. That’s my mate. Jayden watched with pure fascination and the man stood up and flung a large black duffle bag over his shoulder. He stood over six feet tall, similar to Gideon’s height. He had broad shoulders, and muscles that strained against his black shirt and tight leather pants.

Story Excerpt: The Alpha's Mate, Book 1

Gideon Channing scanned the crowd through the monitors, looking for any signs of trouble.  It was his job to make sure that all the shifters, humans, and vampires mingled well together. No one had ever been injured or forced to do anything since the opening of his place, Silver Bullet, and as owner and pack Alpha, he planned on keeping it that way. From his office, located above the club, Gideon couldn’t hear the pounding music, but he could enjoy the view. Sitting back, Gideon watched gorgeous, half-naked men gyrating across the dance floor rubbing against each other, creating a sea of delicious, sweaty flesh.
His pack of red wolves had changed so much over the years and he was content with the way things were. Before his father became the Alpha, the wolves had been ruled with an iron fist. Members of the pack were punished and put to death for whatever infraction the tyrant of an Alpha considered to be disgraceful or wrong. Families were broken a part, children slaughtered for stepping out of line, and men and women were held to different standards.
He could still remember the night when he came clean and told his father he preferred men. He didn’t expect the man to accept him as easily as he had, with open arms.  That same night, his father told him a heart breaking story about an uncle he never knew existed. The man had been killed for his sexual preferences, murdered, before his father was old enough and strong enough to step in and fight.  Since then, his father felt guilty over the loss of his older brother. A man that, from what Gideon heard, he resembled in a lot of ways.
When he took the reins from his father, the few families that remained went with his parents to Europe. Now, his pack consisted of gay men, a haven for anyone that needed a safe place in honor of the uncle he never knew. Some of the men he’d grown up with and others found and joined them over the years. Their numbers were growing and he always welcomed anyone who needed a place to call home. The clubs success could be attributed to the entire pack and their hard work. The Silver Bullet had become well known for catering to everyone and their tastes whether conservative or wildly kinky. The large profits not only helped them all live a life of luxury, it also paid the way for the younger members to further their education. College and traveling were important elements in a young pup’s life and he didn’t want any mistakes closing this place down.
Ever since the paranormal world had been exposed to human kind, years ago, they’d lived in relatively peaceful conditions. There were rogues, but they were policed closely by a group called, F.P.A. or Federal Paranormal Agency. The paranormals couldn’t be blamed for everything though. Humans committed crimes and killed all the time.
There were radical groups also known as PARA-haters out there, but their numbers were small and Gideon’s pack hadn’t had any problems with them for a while. Where ever those trouble makers were, he was glad they weren’t in New Orleans, harassing his pack.
After human-kind got over the shock that shifters and vampires were real and not a myth, most humans became curious about paranormals. Over time humans started trusting that they weren’t in any danger. Gideon named the club, Silver Bullet, as a little joke since many human’s believed that shifters or werewolves could only be killed with silver. He wouldn’t confirm or deny that rumor.
Gideon’s hope was that the Silver Bullet would bring everyone together, paranormals and humans alike.
Having a club was also a good excuse to help his pack find their mates.  He’d been searching for his own far too long in his opinion. At thirty-five, he was ready to settle down with a good man by his side.
Scanning each screen, he watched his employees for a few minutes before checking each dark corner, the dance floors, and even the private rooms. Security and safety would always be his top priority. Everyone coming inside his club knew that, and all the players agreed to the discreet surveillance. It was one of the reasons they were always busy. The other was due to the fact that they were the hottest gay club in the state, and quite possibly the country.
The Silver Bullet was a sprawling building almost a block long in the warehouse district in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was a well-known hang out and attracted lots of different clientele. Luckily, they could accommodate everyone’s tastes. From quiet relaxing atmospheres to extreme forms of BDSM, the club had it all.
Gideon made sure to do his homework before opening. He wanted this place to be the go-to for paranormals and humans alike. The sprawling club was cut up into different mini-clubs, some more private and exclusive than others. In fact, in order to get into the dungeon, each member needed a background check and a psych evaluation. If they passed, then they were given their own four digit code.
He loved New Orleans. It had it all. The big city, music, food, swamps, and open spaces that allowed him to shift and run freely. To him, Louisiana wasn’t like any other place in the world. There was a certain magic that hung in the thick air and clung to a person.
Paranormals were everywhere, all over the world, in every city. For the most part, within each city, the different factions kept to themselves. Los Angeles, City of Angels, was the home of actual angels, some vampires, and a few demons. New Mexico, also known as the State of Enchantment, was the home of witches, warlocks, and different breeds of shifters. Texas with all of its open spaces was home to a lot of paranormals, but mostly big game shifters. The list went on and on. His own pack of Red Wolves was a rare breed that could be found in Louisiana.
After a few minutes of watching the sexy men on the screen, he heard a knock before the door opened. Gideon swiveled his chair around and grinned as his Beta, Sean Griffin, strolled in. His best friend could easily be mistaken for his brother. They looked similar in a lot of ways.

“Enjoying the view I see. You should come down and see it up close and personal.” Sean winked.

This is my first interview with Siren Publishing...Olivia Black

Q: Why the change from writing ménage under Alicia White to writing Man Love under Olivia Black?

A: I love writing ménage, but I’m growing and changing as an author. I felt inspired to write the Silver Bullet series. One day I sat down and mapped out all the characters, describing what they looked like and what their back story was. When I was finished, I sat back and realized that I had almost a dozen books that I needed to write. I immediately opened my laptop and boom the first few books were done. The rest is history, I now write under two pen names.

Q: Do you have a favorite M/M author?

A: I’ve been a huge fan of alternative romance for many years. The names that pop into my head are Carol Lynne, Lynn Hagen, Stormy Glenn, Anitra Lynn McLeod, and AJ Jarrett. I have a collection of their books sitting on my shelf along with many more from other talented authors.

Q: You’ve written a couple of series with other Siren Ménage Everlasting Authors, would you like to collaborate on projects with Siren Man Love Authors as well?

A: I love writing with other authors. The two experiences I’ve had so far have been very rewarding. Writing is generally considered a solitary activity and I like working with others. It would be wonderful to be asked to be a part of a Man Love series.

Q: How do you make the love scenes you write so incredibly hot?

A: I have to be honest, I watch porn. I use the scenes as inspiration and it really does make the scenes in my books hotter!  There is one star that I’m a fan of, Jesse Jackman. I watch everything he stars in and he’s the inspiration for a character in a future book. I’ll let the readers guess which one.

Q: Most of your books are paranormal stories, what attracted you to writing fantasy versus contemporary?

A: I really love shifters, vampires, and other paranormal creatures. The Alpha males that are tough, rough, and animalistic are so much fun to write. When writing fantasy, you can use your imagination and make anything possible. That aspect really gives writers a lot of room to create different, magical worlds.
